How to Add Color to Your Apartment
Decorating your apartment is a great way to express yourself and make your place at The Lenore your home here in Baltimore, MD. One great way you can do that is through adding color to each area of your home. Read today’s blog post for some super easy apartment-friendly ideas for how you can do so this month! Pillows and blankets We love the idea of finding colorful pillows and blankets because even if you have a few that you already like to throw over your couch, you can always find more and mix things up when you want a change of scenery. These can really set a tone for a room because they’re the finishing touches to an area that should feel welcoming, and they often add just the right touch. You can find all sorts of decorative pillows and blankets from World Market or another online or brick-and-mortar store. Photos and art These can add artistic and homey vibes to a room, so choose your favorite photos to display on the walls or to put in a frame to add personality to a shelf. You can do a lot with photo gallery walls , so decide on a color scheme and style that works for you. Everything from the colors of your prints to the colors, materials, and styles of your frames should work together to create a unified, pleasing effect. Furniture If you’re in the market to get rid of a sagging couch or an old, broken dresser, you can take this opportunity to browse colorful furniture options . Be open to buying something or even to painting something of yours you love but think could use a facelift. Even if you don’t like bolder, flashy colors, you can still think about how neutrals like black, white, gray, or brown will work together with the other items in your room to create a look you love. Flower arrangements Flowers are the perfect addition to any room because they’re relatively easy to make or buy, they can be made to go well with a specific occasion or season, they’re beautiful and cheerful, and they can even stick around for good if you go for a silk flower arrangement! Check out Pinterest for fall flower arrangement ideas . What are your favorite ways to add color to your apartment? Let us know by leaving a comment. Thanks for reading!
